The idea has now spread internationally and, in some places, Restaurant Week has become Restaurant Month. Costa Mesa is celebrating its version during all of January and Orange County Restaurant Week is set from Jan. 27th to March 5th. Read More

Newport Beach Restaurant Week Gala Launch Party

The Coliseum Pool & Grill at the Pelican Hill Resort co-sponsored the Newport Beach Restaurant Week Gala Launch Party, along with Hoag Hospital, kicking off the culinary festivities on January 12, 2011. The evening benefited the Hoag Heart Campaign; in February, participating local restaurants suggest dining out menu choices that are heart healthy to encourage lifestyle choices that can help reduce risk of heart disease. The evening was filled with fresh and tasty cuisine, local chefs, Hoag donors, media and the public to ring in the citywide culinary celebration. The Newport Beach Restaurant Association is celebrating its Fifth Annual Restaurant Week with close to 75 participating restaurants serving up special three-course prix-fixe gourmet menus at their establishments.
