INAUGURAL NEWPORT BEACH RESTAURANT WEEK LAUNCH EVENT RAISES FUNDS FOR MARINE FAMILIES

Newport Beach’s Finest Restaurants Anticipate Citywide Culinary Celebration! 

As the sun was setting The Balboa Bay Club & Resort provided an intimate setting for close to two hundred guests celebrating the launch of The Inaugural Newport Beach Restaurant Week.  The Bay Club Grille was the perfect backdrop as guests mingled accompanied by a culinary display of tempting appetizers.  A Martini Station featuring sautéed Shrimp and Scallops over Risotto was the main attraction.  Chefs personally carved Beef Wellington with a Port Wine Reduction.  An array of freshly prepared sushi was also popular. Many commented on the overall ambiance complimented by the mouth watering appetizers.  The launch event was a huge success which can only be the beginning of a successful restaurant week which takes place January 21st -25th.  The evening’s inaugural event raised over $10,000 for the First Battalion First Marines of Camp Pendleton and their families.
